Joseph Rosier, Founder
Joseph Rosier is a dedicated entrepreneur and community leader within the Haitian-American community of South Florida. He emigrated to the United States in 1994, bringing with him a strong educational foundation that includes bachelor’s degrees in philosophy and theology from Grand Séminaire Notre-Dame, affiliated with the Pontifical Urban University, as well as degrees in Business Administration and Psychology from State University of Haiti. In the United States, he furthered his education at Florida International University, pursuing a Master of Public Administration degree.
In Haiti, Joseph founded and managed Alfa Tanboula, a bi-weekly Creole-language newsletter (1985–1989) dedicated to promoting Haitian Creole as an official national language and supporting literacy campaigns throughout the country.
Joseph’s professional career began at Miami Dade College, where he served as an Academic Advisor and later as a Community Liaison Specialist. He subsequently earned professional certifications and licenses in Insurance, Real Estate, and Tax Preparation, which led to the establishment of his own company, USA Tax Pro & Insurance, in 2014.
Grateful for the support he received from family members, friends, mentors, and sponsors during his formative years in Haiti, Joseph has always felt a deep commitment to giving back to his community. In 2002, he founded the Haitian American Youth Task Force, originally known as the Haitian American Youth Foundation, to address issues affecting young people, including crime, delinquency, school dropout rates, and academic underachievement within the Haitian-American community.
Today, as Haiti faces unprecedented challenges, Joseph has launched GIVE BACK HAITI, a movement dedicated to mobilizing Haitians at home and abroad, as well as friends of Haiti, to help rebuild the nation’s educational infrastructure, support Haitian veterans, and advocate for stronger and more professional military services. Through this initiative, he hopes to inspire collective action, sustainable development, and a renewed sense of national responsibility.
Joseph extends his sincere gratitude to all those who support and contribute to this important mission for Haiti’s future.
