Our History
Founded in 2002 as the Haitian American Youth Foundation, our organization later became the Haitian American Youth Task Force. From 2005 to 2013, we partnered with Miami Dade College, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and elected officials to celebrate Haitian students achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher. After a period of inactivity, we relaunched in 2024 as the Haitian American Task Force, doing business as Give Back Haiti, with a renewed commitment to education, service, and Haiti’s future.
Mission
Give Back Haiti is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and tax-exempt organization. Our mission is to organize fundraising campaigns to help decentralize university education in Haiti, support Haitian veterans, and advocate for improved military services in Haiti.
